They think that their car’s engine needs time to warm up so it runs properly. In reality, this is one of those bad driving habits you’ll want to stop doing.

Idling actually causes a huge amount of wear and tear on your engine. In fact, all you’re doing is placing your engine on unnecessary stress, and wasting a lot of gas in the process. Instead, the better thing to do is bundle up, defrost your windows, and just start driving. Your car will warm up much faster and safer this way.

With how pricey gas can get, it makes sense that drivers don’t want to refuel until they must. However, this is another one of those bad driving habits you’ll want to kick. Driving on E just increases the chances of your fuel pump burning out and gunk building up in the gas tank. Next time, before you’re on fumes, hit up the gas station.
